FIELD SHOW in Hosteradice
|
In total, eleven machine sets for soil preparation were seen in Hostěradice during the rainy morning. STROM machines attracted may visitors also from surrounding countries who come to see what machineries are used in the The soil preparation machines were presented on lands after harvesting of sugar beet and maize. The deep ripper STROM RIPPERLAND RO 300 with RIPPERSEEDER sowing machine for sowing of rape were presented the first on the post-sugar beet land. This machine combination was first officially introduced right on the field days in Hostěradice. After ripping of deep pre-ploughed furrows, two STROM SWIFTER SO 5000 seedbed cultivators with hydraulic skid and STROM SWIFTER SO 7000 started working and showed the audience why these machines are the bestsellers in the seedbed cultivators in the Despite humid conditions, the machines managed the ploughing bumps and prepared the field in high quality for subsequent seeding. Disc harrowing started with a classis disc harrow STROM PRECISER PC 7000 followed by a new product STROM DISCLAND LC 6000, a short disc harrower with standalone fixing of each disc at ploughing angle fitted with Quick-Stop® system. Audience had a chance to compare the work of the classic and the short disc harrowers. Presenter Mr David Ryčl described both machines and their concepts with respect to their disadvantages and advantages. After standard disc harrowers, rare disc harrower widths appeared. STROM DISCLAND LM 12 000 with the working width of 12 m prepared the first stubble breaking before the wide-range cultivators and showed audience the mammoth performance during one pass. The wide-range STROM SWIFTER SS 12000 cultivators of working width 12 m extra equipped with the front hydraulic skid and STROM SWIFTER SS 15 000 of working width 15 m prepared the field after the first stubble breaking; the land was prepared for sowing after one single pass… Combination of the wide-range short disc harrower and wide-range cultivator showed practical treatment of soil and preparation for sowing at minimum costs. As the presenter noted, the advantage of Hostěradice field with sugar beet harvested was low plant residues content; in most cases, two disc passes and one cultivator pass are required, however performance of the machines is fantastic thanks to working speed and the working width. The STROM MC 4500 mulcher worked with cutters for TTP worked on the land after the maize. Following the MC type, MZ 4500 was presented; the zinc-coated machine design was also fitted with knives for mulching of vegetable residues on stubble fields. The organizers intended to show the difference between the TTP and stubble field knives. After demonstrations, the audience had a chance to test the machines. The interest in an individual testing presentation of the machines was eminent. |
